In the summer, Bort is accessible by car via a steep, narrow mountain road. This road is a very popular hiking trail and also a trotti bike route. There is a lot of traffic on this single-track road when travelling between the hours of 12:00 and 18:00. Your accommodation booking confirmation acts as a permit allowing you to drive on this roadway.

Long-term parking is available at the Pfingsteggbahn mountain station, and there is free parking near the Glacier Gorge (Gletscherschlucht). Ski bus No. 22 runs from both car parks directly to the Grindelwald-First cable car. A local bus timetable operates during the summer, and we recommend that you always unload your luggage at the Firstbahn cable car.
